According to a report I've read on the internet, Captain Phil Harris, died on July 12, 2008 from complications due to his blood clots. How very sad, I am praying for his boys and family. Rest in the Lord, Phil.

I read about Phil passing away via Wikipedia two days ago. I looked again today and the part about Capt. Phil passing away is gone. Glad to hear he's still playing in the world.

I saw an "After the Catch" show where they were talking about Phils death, his sons made the casket, burried him on some hillside, put a pack of cigarettes in with him...... this was about a month or two ago, they said he died from pneumonia, fluid filled his lungs and it was like he drowned.
Did anyone else see this?, I watch the show Deadliest Catch all the time and also watch After the Catch with Mike Roe.

When did this episode air? I don't believe it!

I'm glad he's doing better and hope he lives a long and happy life, and gets back on the boat!!!
